Our flexible teaching means we can provide students with specialised support in areas like learning, behaviour and mental health. This includes students with learning disabilities.
Our junior school offers a range of core classes (such as English, Maths and Wellbeing) and specialist classes (such as The Arts, Technologies and Health and Physical Education).
Our curriculum uses hands-on, individualised learning. Our staff believe in all our students and have a caring approach.
We offer the Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Major (VCE VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) to senior students with a focus on building skills in Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development Skills (PDS) and Work Related Skills (WRS).
Our different Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are offered both onsite and in partnership with local TAFE and training organisations. These courses give students experience to prepare them to be ‘job ready’ and enter the workforce.

Wellbeing staff
A new online platform will support students to achieve their education and careers goals. Developed by Orygen, with support from RACV, the YOTES program was designed to help students work towards their career goals, offer personalised career advice, and connect students with peer mentors and other students in a safe online environment.
This month, the Berry Street School will officially launch its second Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) through Narragunnawali. The RAP has an increased focus on cultural safety, connection to Country, anti-racism and allyship, and the voice and agency of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The recent heavy rain and subsequent flood event in the Goulburn Valley region created significant challenges for the local area, including the Shepparton Campus of the Berry Street School. Students and staff came together to provide immediate assistance to those in need in our community.
